Saving Files

This page covers the basic save operation for Plan files.

Saving Plans

A Plan can be saved via File > save Save (or save_as Save As), or with Ctrl + S. If the Plan has not been saved before, the Save As dialog will appear, allowing you to choose the file name and location. If the Plan has been saved before, it will be saved to the existing file location.

For a more general discussion on using the Filesystem, see the Filesystem Overview.

Filesystem Save As Dialog

File names must be unique within the same folder.

Who can access the saved file depends on the file's location, as well as any access specified on the file itself. To change access settings, click the group_add Manage Access button in the right-hand sidebar when the file is selected. Saving Other File Types

In general, other file types are saved when created.

Use File > New, then choose the File Type you want to create. Alternatively, the Filesystem Open dialog has a +New menu, which provides the same options.

Open Dialog's +New menu options
File > New menu options

A dialog to specify location and name will appear, similar to the Save As dialog shown above.
