Filesystem
The Filesystem is where your work is saved to. It contains article Files (such as Plans, shopping_basket Assortments, and analyticsStore Data Sets), and folder Folders, which are used to organize Files.
File Types
Plan — The primary file type containing fixtures like shelvesRacks and crop_16_9Shelves, along with widgetsProduct Positions.
group_work Project — A collection of Plans for bulk operations, item replacements, cross-plan reporting, and easy navigation between related planograms. Guide here.
Store Plan — A floor layout that positions multiple Plans with location and angle information to represent a full store.
analytics Store Data — A data set (sales, inventory, etc.) that can be bound to Plans for analysis, heatmaps, and reporting calculations. Guide here.
shopping_basket Assortment — A saved set of catalog items with customizable filters or item lists, used to filter the catalog or populate assignment Templates. Guide here.
assignment Template — A rule-based file that automatically generates planogram content by placing items from shopping_basket Assortments into defined regions. Guide here.
Component — A reusable dataset Group of products, fixtures, or other elements saved to the Filesystem; can be shared and used across multiple Plans. Guide here.
Folders and files may specify additional Users or Teams who can access them, via group_add Manage Access. There is a guide on access control privileges below.
File Actions
When a file or folder is selected, it may be manipulated via the purple Command Bar at the top of the Filesystem, or via a context menu (right click).
Possible actions are discussed below.
edit Rename
Opens a dialog to rename the selected File or Folder. The new name must not conflict with another File or Folder at the current location.
history Previous Versions
Allows one to open a previously saved version of a file. File archives are preserved for 30 days by default.
Strictly for Plans and Store Plans you have WRITE access for.
drive_file_move Move
Opens the move dialog, to specify a new location for all selected Files and Folders.
The new Folder location must be a Folder you have WRITE access for.
Files and folders may also be moved by clicking and dragging them onto another folder Folder you have WRITE access to.
delete Delete
Delete the selected Files and Folders. Be careful -- this cannot be undone.
content_copy Copy
Strictly for Plan files.
logout Show File Location
Navigates the Filesystem to show the selected file's Folder location.
group_add Manage Access
Opens the Access Management dialog for the selected File or Folder, allowing one to specify which person Users and diversity_2 Teams can access it, as well as their permission levels.

Saving Files
save Saving a file is fairly straightforward, though differs slightly depending on what filetype you are saving.

File Tags
When saving you can also specify label Tags for the file, which can help when searching for particular files. Tags are customizable. There is a guide on them here.
Opening Files
One may folder_open Open any file they have WRITE access for. If they have only READ access, they may still Open a Copy of that file.

Importing PSA Files
One may vertical_align_bottom Import an external PSA file into GoPlanogram.
The contents of that file can also be used to populate a GoPlanogram receipt_long Catalog

Projects
A group_work Project is a filetype that acts as a collection of Plans (and, if your site supports them, Store Plans).
Projects enable bulk multi-Plan insights Insights, newspaper Reports, and swap_horiz Item Swapping.
The contents of a Project can be assigned statically or dynamically.
