Aisles, Bays, and Racks

shelves Racks are the most common fixture type in GoPlanogram. A Rack can represent a Pegboard, Slatwall, or Shelving Only section, and can may have pegged widgets Product Positions or other fixtures parented to them, such as crop_16_9 Shelves or dry_cleaning Bars.

Racks can be nested within other fixtures (i.e. a Pegboard section nested inside a top-level Shelving Only Rack, or a Pegboard section on a dry_cleaningBar). A nested Rack is called a Sub-Rack. A top-level Rack is called a Bay.

Aisles

Bays are arranged in a horizontally in curtains_closed Aisles.

An Aisle can be created via add_box Insert > curtains_closed Aisle (either by the context or header menu). Pressing "R" creates an Aisle with a single Bay at the cursor location. An Aisle can be dragged onto another to combine them.

Bays can be Added, Removed, chevron_leftchevron_right Swapped with other Bays, or Detached using the buttons that appear on a selected Bay. A selected Bay can be duplicated and added to its Aisle via the "3" hotkey.

When an Aisle is created, you may specify the Rack Properties for each Bay. These can be changed at any time, and each Bay may specify its own unique properties.

Properties

A Rack's properties can be edited by double-clicking the Rack, or via Right Click > info Properties.

When editing a Rack's properties, if it is a Bay, you can use the content_copy checkbox buttons beside inputs to update those properties for all Bays in the Aisle. If you want all changes to be applied to all Aisle Bays, check the Apply Changes to All Bays checkbox.
