Replacements
One or more widgets Product Positions or dataset Dynamic Components can be swap_horiz Replaced for another, across a single Plan file, or all Plans within the current group_work Project.
Replacing Products
To replace Product Position(s) of one SKU to another, you can Right Click on a Position, then choose swap_horiz Replace SKU. Alternatively, you can launch the SKU Replace dialog via Edit > Replace SKUs.
Define one or more Replacements (from/to item pairs) via the UI or an XLSX file.
To create a Replacement, select an item in the From Item table, select the replacement in the To Item table, then click Add to add it to the Preview table.
If your catalog contains multiple Merch Styles for an item, you will have the option to specify specific merch styles to replace.
Click Replace In Plan to apply replacements to the current plan, or Replace in Project to apply them across all files in the open group_work Project.
You can specify multiple replacements to perform at once. In this case, the replacements will be performed in the order they appear in the Preview table.
You can use arrow_left Remove to remove a replacement from the preview, and keyboard_double_arrow_up Up and keyboard_double_arrow_down Down to change the order.
Replacing Via XLSX
To perform a large number of replacements at once, or perform the same replacements across many Plans, you can specify Replacements via an XLSX file.
To load a replacements XLSX, upload via Choose File, and click Upload Replacements to populate the Preview table.
The spreadsheet must have FromID and ToID headers. Each row must specify a valid item ID for the From item and the To item. You can download a template spreadsheet here.
You may optionally specify FromMerchStyle and ToMerchStyle headers, to specify specific merch styles to replace.
Replacing Dynamic Components
Similar to individual items, Dynamic Components can also be replaced programatically.
To replace one component to another, you can Right Click on a Dynamic Component, then choose swap_horiz Replace Component.
This dialog works the same way as replacing individual items.
Replacing via API
If you have GoPlanogram API access, you can programatically replace items via an API endpoint.
