Creating File Tags
If you have the label Edit File Tags permission, you can create and manage File Tag Groups and their values, by File > Manage > File Tags, or by clicking the Edit File Tags button next to the Tag dropdowns.
From here, the Manage File Tags dialog appears. If there are no Tag Groups yet, click the Create button.
A prompt appears for the new Tag Group's name.
After providing a name, tag values can be added with the + Add Value button. Below is an example Tag Group with three values.
Beyond specifying values, Tag Groups may also apply to specific File Types only. Use the File Types dropdown to choose which types the Tag Group can be used with.
Use the Has Minimum and/or Has Maximum checkboxes to enforce a minimum or maximum number of tag values that must be selected when tagging a file. In the example above, both have been set to 1, meaning exactly one tag value must be selected when tagging a file with this Tag Group.
Once changes are complete, click Confirm Changes to save the Tag Group.
Delete Tag Group may be used to delete the Tag Group entirely. Deleting a Tag Group will also remove any tags from files that were tagged with it, so use caution when deleting.
