View Options

View Options are hard-coded views to assist with various tasks, from identifying overlaps, to calling out widgets Product Position orientations.

Checkbox Options

Checkbox view options can be turned on or off simultaneously (unlike Radio view options, discussed below).

Dimensions

Dimensions shows distances between fixtures on Racks. Large units (feet or meters) can be toggled in File > Settings (to show only inches or centimeters).

Shelf Notches

Shelf Notches displays, on each crop_16_9 Shelf the number of notches from its Rack base it is.

Images

Images toggles Product Position images on or off. Useful if one prefers their newspaper Report renderings come out as plain boxes, typically with some edit_note Product Label(s) active.

Hide Products

Hide Products toggles Product Position visibility. Typically used to rearrange fixtures on a fully merchandised Plan.

Overhangs

Overhangs calls out crop_16_9 Shelves with Product Positions hanging off them. Not to be confused with Overfilled (below).

Radio Options

Radio view options can be viewed one at a time, and color widgets Product Positions in various ways.

They are often used to detect errors, or call out implementation details. The Plan below is used to demonstrate each:

Overlaps

Overlap cases: product on product, product overlapping Shelf, peghook over Rack Standard

Flags product overlapping each other, fixtures, or shelves Rack standards (uprights) (for Positions on phishing Hooks only).

Overlaps can be significantly reduced by ensuring Shelf, Bar, and Container fixtures specify an auto-aligning Layout.

Duplicates

There are 3 SKU's with multiple Positions in this POG

Flags products with multiple widgets Positions in the display. Each SKU with duplicates is colored uniquely.

Orientation

Note the middle-right Shelf has the same product, in Front, Top, and Side orientation (left to right)

Colors products based on their Orientation: Front, Side, Top.

Unparented

Flags products not on any fixture yet.

The floating product is marked red when Unparented view is active

Overfilled

Flags Product Positions whose FacingsDeep value exceeds their Capacity (as determined by fixture depth).
